in Gaithersburg, MD. on the Shady Grove Metro Stop.
We will explore what to expect in 2020 in terms of content creation with "The Creativity 2020 Q&A Panel Discussion," featuring Richard Harrington - RHED Pixel, Cirina Catania - The Catania Group, and David K. Helmly, Sr.- Adobe.
The MBS
team will be on hand to provide technical services for minor Mac computer related issues before the event. They will showcase the new 2016 Macbook Pro and answer questions about other production and post-production gear they offer.
There will be networking and refreshments before the event. Get out and meet fellow DC, Maryland, and Virginia Creatives. Trade business cards. The person next to you may be a resource for your next project. Explore and discuss with your creative peers about what's new in production and post-production in the DMV community, and then get your questions answered about all the post-production, camera, and hardware news from 2019, and get those questions answered about the 2020 production, and post-production landscape for creatives.

Richard Harrington
CEO & Founder of RHED Pixel, Inc.
Rich is a member of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals Instructor Dream Team, and a popular speaker on the digital video circuit. He has been the Program Manager for the Post|Production World Conference since 2003.
Rich is an internationally published author. His book, Photoshop for Video, was the first of its kind to focus on Photoshop’s application in the world of video. He is also a contributing author for From Still to Motion, Video Made on a Mac, Final Cut Pro On the Spot and Professional Web Video.
A Master’s Degree in Project Management fills out Rich’s broad spectrum of experience. Rich enjoys traveling and digital photography, as well as teaching his kids the joys of science fiction and comic books. @rhedpixel
Cirina Catania
Writer/Director, Cirina Catania, is the Founder and Lead Creator at The Catania Group, a partner in Lumberjack System and a creative evangelist for companies such as Blackmagic-Design and OWC. She is one of the original co-founders of the Sundance Film Festival and an active member of the PGA, WGA, IATSE, NPPA, and the National Press Club.
Her company is currently in post-production on a TV Series, “Cowboy Country,” the full-length documentary, “Kionte Storey, Athlete,” and a 1/2 hour doc, “Chuck Caldwell - Artist of War.”
Cirina hosts, produces and writes the weekly NPR-style podcast, “OWC RADiO” featuring in-depth interviews with technology experts and creative artists.
Cirina has chased lightning for National Geographic, filmed Danny Glover in South Africa for the UN Goodwill Ambassador Program, shot avalanche control training footage for the National Ski Patrol, written and directed 48 branded shorts for Chivas Regal and MSN; and post-produced the Mi3 Collector’s Edition DVD’s. She has written, directed or shot for reality TV series such as, “Untold Stories from the ER;” “Ancient Aliens,” “Southern Steel;” “Worst Case Scenario;” and “Merge.” Cirina previously worked for eight years at MGM/UA and United Artists in the worldwide theatrical division as VP Worldwide Marketing. @cirina
David K. Helmly, Sr.
David K. Helmly, Sr., Head of Global DVA Field Operations at Adobe Systems, Inc.
Dave Helmly is the Senior Manager for Pro Video for the Americas Adobe Systems Incorporated. As the Senior Manager for Pro Video for the Americas at Adobe, David Helmly manages a Senior Field Team specializing in Pro Video/Audio production workflows for film and broadcast in North and South America. Helmly also travels abroad giving lectures and participating in various industry advisory councils and panel discussions.
Helmly has worked for Adobe for nearly 20 years and has specialized in digital video and digital imaging products for more than 25 years.
Prior to Adobe, Helmly worked for a digital video pioneer, Radius Inc, a well-known hardware company developing digital video and digital imaging accelerator products for Adobe's award-winning line of software.
